I am a chef based in New York City, and I'm so excited to share my joy of cooking with you.
While I'm focused on teaching my students to make empowered food choices for themselves, I also understand food is meant to be loved--not endured. If done right, cooking can offer a chance to experience wonder and community in just small moments of our everyday lives.
Of course, it is important to nourish ourselves with the best ingredients to live healthy and sustainable lifestyles. But equally important, we must have fun where we can. My approach is all about abundance. You can enjoy an array of foods (there is no such thing as a "bad" food), and still prioritize adding more fruits and vegetables into your daily intake. All the while, why not celebrate your local and seasonal foods? It’s so important to know where your food comes from. It’s even better if you can grow your own. And yes, even in a NYC, you grow some actual fruits and veggies before your very eyes. Just ask my micro greens and scallions.
As a certified Integrative Health Coach and with over 12 years as a pastry chef for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, I don't plan on choosing between heavenly and healthy. So come along on this journey with me, and let's put some joy in your food.
