Summer is upon us! Remember to hydrate, a fun way to add some nutrients to your water. How about a Tumeric tea but iced instead of golden milk.
Turmeric contains curcumin which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and a strong antioxidant. Adding a bit of black pepper helps with absorption in the body.
Simple Non-Recipe -Tumeric Ice Tea
1/2 cup of fresh turmeric peeled
4 cups of water
a dash of black pepper
Bring the water to a boil, add turmeric let it steep for 6 minutes, let it cool.
In a glass add ice and then tea. Garnish with a dash of fresh ground black pepper and mint. Enjoy!!
