Eating Empowered can mean a lot of things to many people, I define it by thinking about have a mindset in which you feel confident about your food choices and how you nourish yourself. It's an approach to food through an abundance mindset and adding of nutrition.
Food is medicine and can provide lots of joy and health benefits. Some questions to ask yourself when considering your food choices is how do I feel? Where did my food come from? How can I live a long healthy and sustainable life?
Studies have been done that show a variety in whole foods and diversity in plants can lead to longevity and healthy lives. Food can also play a role in the reversal of diseases. Whole Food Plant-based meals can provide all the nutrients and fiber one needs to live a thriving and healthy life. Certain diseases are caused by lifestyle choices and your mindset. Becoming physically healthier and fitter often starts with mastering your mindset. In a recent issue of Psychology Now, the whole magazine was dedicated to Healthy Mind, Healthy Body.
